“Personal data” is any data that identifies you. Personal data which you supply to me you agree will be true, complete and accurate in all respects. I will deal with your personal data in compliance with the current UK Data Protection legislation.
I collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. The type of information I will collect about you includes your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. If at any time you would like to see the information I hold about you please contact me and I will be happy to update my records as you wish. If there are any inaccuracies I will amend my records without delay.
Please note this applies only to Corrigan Cards not to other companies or organisations websites to which I link.
All data will be collected, processed and used by Corrigan Cards for the purposes of providing the on line sales services to you. Your data may be processed and used by other organisations on my behalf for the purposes of providing the on-line sales services to you and for no other purpose. Use of information will remain under the control of Corrigan Cardsat all times.
I will only disclose personal data to a party to the transaction only to assist your transaction and for no other purpose.

*Administration of customer’s orders

Sensitive personal data
We neither collect nor have access to any ’sensitive personal data’ as defined by the Data Protection Act 1998.
Cookies
Cookies are pieces of information that are stored by your Internet browser on your computer’s hard drive. Your browser ensures that cookies set by Corrigan Cards will only be visible to Corrigan Cards so no third party would be able to access them.
Cookies are necessary to be able to store items in your shopping basket during your shopping session. I also use cookies to track how my site operates and how it is used.

Orders

When you place an order for more than five items, you will receive written confirmation via e-mail to the address you provide with the order. Also, I will contact you to confirm the details including the price for the order and an indication of theP&P costs.

Once agreed the contract becomes effective. I will make your cards to your individual specification free from defects in materials and I will make every effort to ensure that any changes or amendments are acceptable to you before you make a payment. Upon completion I will email you with a picture of your order and details on how to make payment.

Because all of my cards are individually handmade, your order will not be an exact replica of the card that is on display on the website site. No two cards are the same which is why they will be unique to you.

Payment

All of my prices are in Pounds Sterling and no other currency is acceptable for payment.

I accept payment via a third party gateway service PayPal. I never see your personal card details. Please do not enter your card details on the order form or any e-mail you send to me as these are not secure facilities.

I realise that some customers prefer not to place their card details on-line. Therefore, if you prefer an alternative method of payment, please contact me prior to placing your order to make appropriate arrangements for payment.  Please note; no orders will be posted until payment has cleared in full.

I am not VAT registered so am unable to supply VAT receipts and I am unable to provide VAT refunds for VAT exempt buyers.

Overseas purchasers are responsible for any import duties, taxes or other charges that apply to their country or state.  Please contact me for postage costs prior to placing an order.

Returning Your Order

The UK’s Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven working days of receiving the item. There are certain exceptions to these rights of cancellation, including:
contracts for the provision of accommodation, transport, catering or leisure services,
the sale of customised goods (like personalised cards) or perishable goods,  sealed audio or video recordings, or software, which has been opened,  sales by auction.

It is important to me that you are happy with your purchase, so I will always discuss with you the reason for any dissatisfaction you may have. If I agree to accept the cancellation of your order after it has been sent, you will be responsible for the costs of returning the card to me unless I sent you the wrong card or it’s construction is faulty. Likewise the cost of postage and packing for sending you the card will not be included in any refund I may agree to. When agreed, you will receive a full refund for a cancelled contract within 30 days.

Pre & Post Sales Services

If you have any comments or questions about your order or just in general, please do contact me by using the form on the contact page .

If you are in anyway dissatisfied with my service or cards  please let me know  as soon as you can. In most cases I will reply to any enquiries within 2 days, but there may be occasions when this is not possible so please check my Home Page for information on when I may not be available for longer periods.

Postage and Packaging.

All  prices include inserts and envelopes.  Each final costing also includes a charge for p&p. For orders of more than 5 items, please contact me before placing an order.

Delivery and Postage

Unless otherwise agreed, you must pay your order in full before I post the card(s) to you.  In most cases, with the exception of our Wedding Stationery sets, you will receive your order within 30 days, with the majority of orders ready for shipment within one week. If, for any reason, delivery times are likely to exceed this, I will let you know from the outset. Please remember I make all cards individually to order so there may be times when existing commitments do not allow me to meet this.  Please see our Wedding Stationery Order page for further details.

I use Royal Mail for all orders and for delivery in the UK  via registered post for orders over 5 cards, unless otherwise requested by the customer – however, alternative delivery methods may incur a further P&P charge.  If you do wish an alternative delivery method, please contact me prior to placing your order.  For single card orders or orders up to, and including, 4 items, I use Royal Mail first class post.

The delivery address will normally be your home address as quoted on the order form.

Within the P&P costs will be a contribution towards the sturdy packaging I use for sending items through the post. All reasonable steps will be taken to ensure safe transit but I cannot prevent damage occurring whilst in transit.

Returns/Refunds

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your goods, please contact me within seven days of receipt of delivery, so I can discuss with you the best way to make you happy.  If you wish to return your goods, you will be asked to cover the return costs and a refund will be issued.  If, however, you have simply changed your mind, please note that no refund can be given if the item(s) were created personally for you to your own specifications.

The customer must return items in their original packaging and send via Recorded/Special Delivery, with proof of postage.

Refunds will only be given once the items have been received, inspected and deemed to be in good condition.

Refunds are made using the same method by which payment was received

If a customer paid via Paypal, the refund will be made via Paypal
If a customer paid by cheque/postal order, the refund will be made by cheque within 48 hours.

Data is collected for the sole use of this site and for delivery/courier services, where your address information will be passed on.
